My Trail Company UL3 Ultralight Backpacking Tent Review Video

As the Gear Report team prepares for our 100 mile, 12 day backpacking trek through the mountains of New Mexico, Jeff and R-man have put a variety of My trail Company products through their paces. The most critical of which is the MTC UL3 tent that R-man will use on the trek. Jeff has also set up the UL3 a few times, slept in it, and offers his thoughts in the pre-trek review video below.

MyTrailCo UL3 tent review video

 Wait a sec. Isn’t that a GoLite Imogene?

Yes, and no. While MyTrailCo has risen from the ashes of the old GoLite brand, it probably isn’t fair to say they are just making all of the old GoLite products with no changes or improvements. However, I have not used a GoLite Imogene UL3. So, I don’t know what those differences might be. Please leave a comment if you know.
