Not every product that we review works perfectly “out of the box”. Usually, if we have problems, it is with electronic items that don’t want to play nice. In this case, we had  rare issue with a gun that wouldn’t run properly when brand new. In the video, Jeff tries to demonstrate the UTAS UTS-15 bullpup shotgun, while the UTS-15 refused to cooperate.
**This is Part 1 – the BEFORE portion of this review. Out of the box this early production UTAS UTS-15 bullpup shotgun had problems.

Part 2 will show how this UTS-15 shotgun performed after being sent back to UTAS for updates. UTAS was great about taking our early production UTS-15 shotgun back to install the updates**

We just got the UTS-15 back from UTAS and are optimistic that all the kinks have been ironed out, but haven’t tested it yet. However, that doesn’t change the initial experience we had with the UTS-15. As always, we report what our experience is, whether it is good, bad, or indifferent.
Watch the video below to see how it went down…

The “big deal” on this pump shotgun is that with two 7-round tubes, plus one in the chamber, it’s total capacity is 15 rounds. That is a LOT of 12 gauge firepower! As a “tactical shotgun” it is designed to have optics and/or sights attached to the picatinny rail on top, and does not come with sights or optics.
