What gear do you need for concealed carry of a pistol?

Factors to consider when building your concealed carry setup:

  1. Sturdy, durable gun belt:
    • Must support the weight of the pistol, holster and extra ammo. Normal belts are not sufficient.
  2. Retention:
    • Handgun must not fall out if you run or jump. Must be difficult for someone else to remove from the holster. You need the best holster for concealed carry.
  3. Comfort:
    • Carrying a concealed handgun every day is MUCH more pleasant if the carry setup is comfortable.
  4. bigfoot_gunbelts (4)Affordable:
    • The best concealed carry gear in the world is useless if you can’t afford to buy and use it.
  5. Extra ammo:
    • Your handgun is only useful if you have enough ammunition to deal with a life threatening situation. Your concealed carry gear should let you carry at least one, if not more, additional magazines.
